The Ranch At Laguna Beach

4-star canyon resort with 9-hole golf course and on-site farm

Amenities

The Ranch At Laguna Beach sits on 35 hectares offering 360-degree views, an outdoor heated saltwater pool, and a 9-hole GEO Certified® golf course. The property operates a working organic garden that supplies fresh ingredients to its restaurant, and maintains an on-site compost pile for fertilizer. Guests have access to a 24-hour fitness center, Sycamore Spa with massage and wellness treatments, and live music performances on the deck.

Rooms

Each accommodation at the ranch includes a furnished balcony or patio, and guests can request a room with views of the creek or canyon. Room types range from Creekside Studio rooms to two-bedroom suites that sleep families or groups. All units come with a tablet for in-room dining orders, turn-down service, and a mini-bar stocked with water and snacks.

Location

The Ranch at Laguna Beach is located across the street from Aliso Beach, providing direct access to surfing, kayaking, and snorkeling. Dana Point Harbor is 13 km away, and the property sits at the mouth of Aliso Canyon surrounded by high canyon walls and wilderness areas. Laguna Beach town center is a short drive or free trolley ride from the resort.

Dining

Harvest Restaurant serves California Coastal cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, using ingredients harvested from the on-site farm. The Lost Pier Café at Aliso Beach offers food, drinks, and live music from 4 to 7 pm daily. Guests can also order from a room service menu via the in-room tablet or eat at the Pool Bar while overlooking the golf course.

Activities

The ranch offers a weekly Scout Camp and Farm Tour where guests learn about sustainable farming practices and feed the chickens. Friday nights include stargazing demonstrations, and Saturday mornings feature a bird of prey demonstration with live owls. Guests can also hike or mountain bike on local trails, play bocce ball on the property, or ride the free shuttle to the beach.
